Lerici
Lerici is a beautiful coastal town in La Spezia.
Its known for its beautiful harbor, colourful buildings and stunning views of the Gulf of La Spezia. Lerici is the perfect destination for tourists looking for a beach holiday. While in Lerici make sure to explore historical sites, such as the medieval castle, and enjoy fresh seafood in a one of many charming restaurants along the waterfront.

How to get to Lerici: Its worth noticing that there is no train station in Lerici. So in order to get here you can either go by bus, boat, taxi or car. It takes aprox 15 minutes to get here by car or taxi from La Spezia, and circa 30 minutes by bus. If you do go by car, pay very much attention to the LTZ (Limited Traffic Zones), and do not enter in zones with the sign or you can get heavy fines. I would personally recommend going here by boat, so you get to enjoy the scenery from the sea.

Things to see:
1. Castello di Lerici - Castle of Lerici.
2. Chiesa di San Francesco : A historic church with beautiful architecthure and art inside.
3.Parco Naturale di Montemarcello Magra : A beautiful natural park perfect for hiking and enoying the stunning coastal scenery.
4. Piazza Garibaldi : A charming square lined with cafes and small local shops. Highly recommended in the evenings, as its often live music and groups of people out to socialize for an aperitivo or an ice cream enjoying the beautiful sunset at the coastal line.
5. Lerici beach : Go for a swim or sunbathing in one of Lericis many sandy beaches, with crystal clear water. Want to know more about the beaches. Check out our blog here.
